God’s Word calls us to obediently “tithe” (give 10%) of what He gives us, to do His kingdom work. “Offerings” given to God are gifts above and beyond our tithes. Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of Our Church and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach.

OUR GOAL IS 100% PARTICIPATION in giving to the Generous Future.

That might mean being lavishly generous or simply sacrificial…like sacrificing a fast food meal once a week and giving that cost to the Generous Future fund. What you give should be decided between you and God, and ask that you give in some way from a worshipful heart.

Prayerfully consider:

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

We are asking that you prayerfully support and sacrificially give to fulfill God’s vision for the future of our Church. Come along side and be part of the next phase of our miraculous story, and prepare to be blessed.

Text the amount you would like to give to 1-262-800-4707 (e.g. $50). Remember to include a space between your dollar amount and your keyword. If a you submit $50Missions, you will receive a "Sorry, not sure what you meant" error message. The proper format must be $50 Missions in order for the command to be received properly.

If you have donated by text before, you will receive a text in response confirming that your gift has been received successfully and your done.

If it's the first time you have donated by text, you will be sent a message that says, "It looks like you are a new giver; to begin: (link provided). It will be a link to the church's online giving page. Clicking on the link and you will be asked to supply your payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account). This payment source will then be linked with your phone number so that, in the future, all you will need to do is text in the amount. (You will not need to re-enter your payment information.)

If you don't specify a fund by keyword, donations will automatically go to the Tithe fund in Breeze. Example giving by keyword: $50 missions Note: You can only give to one fund at a time.

You will receive a confirmation email, sent to the email entered with your payment details, that your online gift was processed.

Donates $50 to your church. Users can type any amount; the dollar sign is optional. This is for Tithes and Offerings.

Your text giving number will respond asking "how much you'd like to give".

Donates $50 to the missions fund. You can customize fund keywords and what fund they point towards. Note: Donors can only give to one fund at a time.

Sets up a recurring gift of $50 each week. Frequency options are 'weekly', 'biweekly', 'monthly', and 'yearly'.

Refunds the previously given contribution.

Allows you to update their payment method or recurring gift. We will respond with a link where you can make these changes.

Unlinks a your phone from the text-to-give system. If a you wants to set-up two recurring gifts from two different methods, using "unlink" will allow the donor to set-up a secondary recurring gift from an additional method.

Provides you with a list of the available generic text commands (will not include the unique specific keywords we have set up for the church)

All text gifts will appear on Giving reports as Method: Text (card) or Text (ACH).

PLEASE NOTE:

All sensitive financial information is stored with the highest bank level security. Your phone number will never be sold, traded, or given to third parties. You will only be texted to confirm your giving.

In regards to designated contributions, Lighthouse Church makes every effort to honor the designation of the donor. However, contributions become the property of Lighthouse Church, and Lighthouse Church has the discretion to determine how best to use contributions to carry out its vision, functions and purposes. Such control of the funds by Lighthouse Church is required to ensure that they will be used to carry out its vision and to ensure donor’s contributions satisfy requirements for tax-deductibility.

All gifts are received and considered without restriction unless explicitly stated otherwise by the donor. If funds received exceed the specific need or goal of a project, or if the project cannot be completed, or at the discretion of Lighthouse Church, any funds donated may be used for similar purposes or other outreaches of Lighthouse Church such as helping preach the gospel, produce inspirational resources or continue support for other projects.
