What Does It Mean That God Is With Us?
When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he greeted her with remarkable words: "Greetings, O favored one! The Lord is with you." This wasn't just a pleasant greeting—it was a declaration of Emmanuel, "God with us," that would define her entire journey.
Mary received an impossible word from God. She would conceive as a virgin and bear the Son of the Most High.
