SCRIPTURAL DECLARATIONS
The Cross Works in Me
The Cross Works in me!
The Cross It is a "Divine Exchange" where Jesus took on the consequences of human sin to offer a new life in return. It is the hungry heart of God assuming man's sins; yes, assuming the responsibility of man's creation, acting as though He were guilty of every sin that man committed.
In the Cross we have:
Forgiveness of Sins: Jesus' death is seen as a payment for sin, effectively "canceling the record of debt" against you and wiping away guilt and shame.
Remission of Sins: The moment that you accepted Christ, all your sins were remitted, wiped out as though they had never been. The same thing is true with your diseases. Jesus was made sin with our sin. and sick with our sicknesses. He became our substitute. We died with Him. We were buried with Him. We were judged with Him. He went to the place where we should have gone, and He suffered there until the claims of justice against us were met, until all the claims were satisfied.
Made Righteous: Our New Creation became a fact in the mind of Justice the moment Jesus was made alive in spirit. Then, before He arose from the dead, He conquered Satan as our Substitute. After Satan was conquered, his authority broken, Jesus arose from the dead victorious! "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21
Reconciliation with God: The cross acts as a bridge, removing - ERASING - the barrier of sin so you can have a personal, peaceful relationship with the Father as His child.
Access to God: Because Jesus satisfied God's justice, you can now "boldly" approach the throne of your Father in prayer without where fear of condemnation.
Freedom from Bondage: It breaks the power of sin's control over your life, meaning you are no longer a "slave" to sin and your old selfish nature.
New Life: Through the cross, your "old self" died, allowing you to live a new, resurrected, transformed life Christ lives within you.
Fullness of the Holy Spirit: Christ sends forth His Spirit to live within you making you His tabernacle and us His Temple. We are led by His Spirit and are His children.
Victory over Evil: Jesus' sacrifice is viewed as a victory over death, Satan, and spiritual forces of darkness, giving you the power to live victoriously over these influences as more than overcomers.
Emotional and Physical Healing: the cross provides healing for brokenness, grief, trauma, and even physical sickness ("by His stripes we were healed").
Eternal Life: The most well-known promise is the gift of eternal life, ensuring that death is not the end but a life in the presence of God.
Proof of Love: The cross stands as the ultimate demonstration that you are intensely and unconditionally loved by God, regardless of your past.
The Blessing: I’m BLESSED. I am BLESSED coming in, and I’m blessed going out. THE BLESSING is working in me now.
The Anointing: The anointing that removes burdens and destroys yokes is working in me–spirit, soul and body. I have come to complete wholeness and wellness.
